With a background in technology and venture capital, Andrew brings a unique business perspective to his clients’ real estate requirements, enabling him to truly align their business goals and objectives with the ideal facility solutions. Andrew’s insight into the financial and operational demands of emerging growth companies helps his clients avoid the common pitfalls faced by early stage firms when dealing with real estate issues and instead these companies are freed up to focus on their core business, saving them valuable time and capital.
Prior to forming RE:Align, Andrew worked for some of the world’s largest commercial real estate firms, where he specialized in representing a wide range of corporate tenants such as Berkshire Hathaway, Interpublic Group, Intermedix, Geosyntec, Electra Bicycle, Oceanhouse Media, and Clearwire.
Before focusing on corporate tenant representation, Andrew spent over a decade working for various venture-backed technology companies in Silicon Valley and San Diego, one of which was acquired by Intel Corporation in 1999. While at Intel, he served in a number of roles ranging from managing IT to strategic planning and eventually worked within the Intel Capital organization, where he led special initiatives focused on enabling advanced wireless technologies.
Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Andrew is actively involved with several local technology organizations and also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity International and Father Joe’s Village.
